On this spring-like day I’m thinking about another one of our favorite local treasures- the Enchanted Forest, aka Tom Rhodes Tree Carving Trail very close by in Warsaw, VA. It is about a mile long through the woods with whimsical carvings throughout. One of the best free activities, fun for the whole family, all ages and abilities can enjoy nature while finding all the carvings. Dog friendly as well. It’s an easy drive from Easthaven and not far from shops and restaurants, great for a weekend getaway from DC or Richmond when you aren’t on the water or have gotten a little too much sun.
